6th Annual Shore Fraud Conference

posted Sep 1, 2010 5:43 AM by Unknown user

Greetings,

It is time to register to attend the 6th Annual Shore Fraud Conference.  We are proud to announce that the 6th Annual Shore Fraud Conference will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 on the campus of Salisbury (MD) University.  You will find all of the Conference information, including a registration form, in the attached brochure.  We look forward to seeing each of you again this year.  Note that once again the Conference will be held in the Guerreri Center/Commons.  As a result of your overwhelming support of our efforts (175 attendees in 2009, a sellout), the Conference will once again be held in the Wicomico Room.  The Conference will sell out quickly, so we urge you to register as soon as possible.

We are very proud to be able to present you with a wonderful opportunity to attend a “World-Class” Fraud Conference right here on the Eastern Shore.  We want to assure you that we have your interests at heart in these difficult economic times.  Funding, especially for continuing professional education is difficult to come by these days.  At the same time, never has there been a more pressing need for business and accounting professionals to be aware of the ways that fraudsters can and will victimize us.  We are offering eight hours of top-quality NASBA approved CPE at a price we can all manage.  The favor that we ask of each of you in return is to let your colleagues and friends know about the Conference and to strongly encourage each of them to attend.

We encourage you to take advantage of a wonderful training opportunity.  As you well know, many courses and conferences offered locally and throughout Delaware, Maryland and Virginia can cost as much as $250 - $350 for 8 hours of CPE.  Compare that with the cost to attend the Shore Fraud Conference.

On behalf of Bill Perry, President of the DelMarVa Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and Dr. Ken Smith, Chair of the Accounting and Legal Studies Department of the Perdue School of Business, Salisbury University, thank you all so very much for your continued support.

If you have any questions, or require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
