ACFE's 2010 Report to the Nations on Occupational Fraud and Abuse ("RTTN") estimates that close to $3 TRILLION dollars are lost annually to fraud on a global basis (5% of Gross World Product).   The Report is based on data compiled from a study of over 1,800 cases of occupational fraud that occured worldwide between January 2008 and December 2009, and was provided by the CFEs who investigated the cases.  Unlike past RTTN, this Report included cases in over 100 countries, providing a truly global view of occupational fraud.
